Welcome to WallZen. Your privacy is paramount to us. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your information, what data we collect, and how we protect your personal rights while using our application.

1. Account Registration & Data Collection

WallZen utilizes Firebase Authentication for account creation and login services. We do not use third-party authentication services such as Google Sign-In.

• Sign-Up Data: When creating an account, we collect your Name, Email Address, and Password to secure your account.
• Profile Picture (Optional): Users have the option to upload a custom profile picture inside their profile settings. This step is purely voluntary and non-mandatory.

2. Wallpaper Storage & Device Permissions

Zero Gallery Access Needed: WallZen values your device's security. We do NOT request or require access to your physical Device Gallery or Photos storage.

• App Local Storage: Any wallpapers you save or download within WallZen are stored strictly in the application’s private local storage directory.
• Direct Wallpaper Application: WallZen allows users to apply wallpapers directly to their Home Screen, Lock Screen, or Both natively within the app without needing external file access.

3. Third-Party Infrastructure

Our app relies on Google Firebase backend infrastructure to securely manage account credentials and databases. Firebase adheres to strict data encryption and security standards. You can read more in the Firebase Privacy Documentation.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We respect your right to control your personal information. When you choose to delete your account via the in-app settings:

• Your account record (Name, Email, Password, Profile Picture) is permanently deleted from our Firebase database.
• All locally cached wallpapers, preferences, and app state are immediately wiped from your device.
